Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about managing bookings with ORDRIO.
ORDRIO supports hourly, daily, weekly, quarter-hourly, and fixed-block booking periods. You can also define schedule windows to control exactly when each resource is available or offline.
Each resource can require approval for new bookings. You can set a cancellation window (minimum notice in hours), buffer time between bookings, and a booking horizon that limits how far ahead people can book.
Yes. Set the maximum bookings per slot to allow concurrent bookings — perfect for classes, shared spaces, or group activities. You can also set a minimum number of participants and choose whether to show remaining capacity to bookers.
When all slots are booked, waitlist-enabled resources let people join a queue. When a spot opens up, the next person is automatically promoted and given a confirmation window to claim it.
Create individual resources, or use templates to set up shared configuration and spawn child resources that inherit those settings. Organize resources into groups for combined availability views and shared booking pages.
Bookers are the people who make bookings on your account. You can run in solo mode (individual bookers) or enable teams where booker groups have their own members with owner, admin, and member roles.
Yes. Each booker can be restricted to specific resources or resource groups. Leave the restrictions empty to grant access to everything, or select exactly which resources they can see and book.
ORDRIO sends booking reminders a configurable number of hours before each booking. Admins are notified of new bookings, approvals, and cancellations. You can also enable notifications for auto-approved bookings.
Each resource has a schedule mode — define specific available hours or mark offline periods. You can hide offline slots entirely or show them as disabled, and set the timezone per resource for accurate availability.
